Bishop of Intercession
Pilgrim Assemblies International
Rev. Mable E. Allen, a graduate of Wayne State University, was born and raised in the magnificent city of Detroit, Michigan. On January 21, 1978, God saved her and filled her with His mighty spirit. While attending Wayne State University, desiring to know more about the Lord, Rev. Allen began attending Greater Grace Temple under the leadership of the late Bishop David L. Ellis.
In January of 1988, under the supervision of Bishop Thomas Butler of the Word of Truth Temple of Jesus Christ in Detroit, MI, Rev. Allen received religious, biblical, and pastoral instruction. She was ordained as a pastor and received her license to minister by the Pentecostal/Apostolic Missionary Expedition Fellowship, of which Pastor Thomas Butler served as Bishop. In September of 1989, Rev. Allen established Rhema Church of the Living God; a church built on the Word of God, prayer, worship, and praise.
Rhema Church became a part of the Pilgrim Assemblies International in 1990; an international Pentecostal assembly over which the late Honorable Archbishop Roy Edward Brown presided. Rev. Allen has since served as Special Assistant to the Bishop, Jurisdictional Presbyter of the state of Michigan, and the National Women’s President of Pilgrim Assemblies International.
The Right Reverend Allen was consecrated to the office of bishop on July 22, 2022, under the Presiding Prelate of Pilgrim Assemblies International, Archbishop William Hudson, III. She continues to serve in Pilgrim Assemblies, and has been elevated to the post of Bishop of Intersession.
Rhema Church continues to be a thriving, praying, praising church where Dr. Allen continues to reach the lost, the dying, and the wounded for the Lord inviting all to…
